With all due respect, the 60 million figure is not widely supported. That in and of itself is anti-communist propaganda, and the likes of David Barrett used that number to make the Soviets seem like Christian-hating savages (Which, like, the Soviet population was 140 million people in 1917, 60 million would have meant them killing nearly half of the entire population, which even if we want to say they're evil monsters who wanted to use them for forced labour, seems counterproductive). Even then, he only estimated that 50% of the 60 million were persecuted for being Christians, and even then it was still incredibly flawed.
If we look to the Russian Orthodox Church, who used documented historical evidence to track casualties, the figures get closer to around 500,000, which is still a lot and condemnable by itself, but 60 million is just way out there and unsupported.
Rest of it was good though. Funny thing is that whilst the US was cleansing Germans from Germany, they were also employing former Nazis in NATO and other west German government positions.

And did you miss the v1 and v2 rocket attacks on Great Britain? Wars were fought in the trenches, from mechanized vehicles such as tanks, with machine guns, with artillery, from the air and with missles. There is a difference between atrocities and war crimes. War is hell. It always has been and it always will be. When the goal is to destroy as much property and kill as many people as possible, the barbarians will always achieve mass casualties. However, there have always been rules of war. Killing children is frowned upon. Killing enemy non combatants is frowned upon. Firebombing is frowned upon. But using atomic bombs on civilian targets crosses the line into war crimes. Extermination camps does too. The international criminal court currently adjudicates `war crimes. Until war is abolished in a utopian future, we will always have senseless killing. We may also have crimes against humanity.
No death camps, no homicidal gas chambers, no mass graves, & most assuredly, no Holocaust! Britain started bombing German cities first, Hitler held back for weeks before retaliating. The Allies committed just as many war crimes as any on the Axis side.
