I believe Canada has been spraying the forests for over 24 years to kill the undergrowth, with the expectation that this is forest management. Now, that glyphosate has become impossible to defend, governments have move on to the use of triclopyr, imazapyr, or the next chemical. This is not progress. It is the same unethical practice under a different name. The herbicides are killing the forest floor of flora, leaving deadwood that is extensive and FLAMMABLE. The herbicides kill the fungus, bacteria and organisms that are present to decompose any combustibles on the floor of the forest, making the forest highly susceptible to fire. This may explain why we are experiencing unpredictable wildfires, and the chem-spraying of flammable chemicals such as strontium, barium and aluminum particulates also adds to a tinderbox awaiting a spark of lightning, a campfire ember or an arsonist.
The spraying of these harmful chemicals is interfering with God’s natural design of the forest, and MUST BE STOPPED! If not, we’re gonna need bigger aerial water bombers, and a lot more of them! This government practice (in America too) is an abominable scandal of immeasurable proportions.
