Let me ask you, what would outrage look like? Would it look like 2% of the population in the streets marching against it? Before the Iraq invasion, 15 million people marched against it. And nothing changed. We rise and we march, and -- nothing happens.

It’s a bit different, but I would suggest that the suppression of the Kennedy assassination files for over 60 years set a very dangerous precedent. One only needs to ask one question: who is being protected by this suppression? Obviously, someone is being protected. In essence, the theory was that secrecy was a viable and appropriate mechanism. This resonates with your point about the secrecy of the wealth hiding business.

That was a really valuable article - except all these articles have to have all the evidence in them, with names and dates. It is no good just hating on the “elites” or making vague noises about power in the people. History has not shown that the people have power at all - the French Revolution was a bloodbath and resulted in a cruel regime of terror which was ultimately liberated by Napoleon, hardly a representative of “the people “. Same with the Russian revolution- supposedly from the “people “- in reality , the “elites”, funded from outside and resulted in more than 68 million of “the people “ killed.

And “uprising “ should not be fomented - the US is in a position where an uprising would result in the absolute opposite of freedom.
