The photo of that crater looks incredibly staged/faked. A bomb capable of creating such crater will obliterate any buildings in the vicinity. And yet we see perfectly intact buildings literally meters away, even with their windows still in place. Tell me this isn't suspicious. No idea who faked the photo and why, but there's certainly an agenda behind it.

The Israeli action in Gaza is certainly ghastly and the thermobaric weapons are very lethal. These are some of the most powerful non-nuclear weapons around (like Russia's FOAB). They kill by causing massive overpressure crush force trauma. This is unlike the case of ordinary explosives that kill by causing numerous shrapnel penetration injuries.
However, I have never heard of a thermobaric weapon causing human bodies to evaporate. The reason is that it isn't that energetic. I have doubts about the mentioned temperatures. But even if they were correct, the explosion doesn't last long enough to incinerate human bodies. I expect the bodies to look more of less intact.
The only weapon I know that's capable of vaporizing human bodies is a nuclear weapon. They emit enough thermal radiation to do that in a few milliseconds.
